Project Overview

The Florida Impaired Driving Coalition (FIDC), a statewide initiative supported by FDOT, needed a website refresh to better communicate its mission and resources. The original site was functional but outdated, with navigation and design that no longer reflected modern web standards.

I collaborated closely with FDOT stakeholders to design and build a new website in Webflow, ensuring that every update aligned with their goals and feedback. The result is a modern, accessible, and user-friendly website that effectively supports FIDC’s public safety initiatives.

Goals

• Modernize the design with a clean, professional, and trustworthy look.

Process & Collaboration

This project involved a highly collaborative approach. I worked back and forth with FDOT throughout the process, refining the design based on their feedback and ensuring the site met both user needs and organizational requirements. Key steps included:

• Conducting a review of the original website to identify usability gaps.
• Creating wireframes and prototypes in Webflow to visualize the new structure.
• Iterating on design updates and content placement based on FDOT’s input.
• Testing the site for accessibility, responsiveness, and usability before launch.

Final Results

The completed FIDC website now delivers a modern, intuitive, and responsive experience. The refreshed design enhances readability, highlights FDOT’s safety initiatives, and improves navigation so users can easily access important resources.

This redesign not only modernized the digital presence of the Florida Impaired Driving Coalition but also demonstrates my ability to work collaboratively with a government agency, manage design iterations, and deliver a polished final product.
